Moore Nature Reserve
Moore Nature Reserve is situated between Manchester Ship Canal and the River Mersey. It offers five large lakes surrounded by woodland, meadows and wetland with paths and bird hides. Its habitats provide a home for a variety of birds, mammals, insects, amphibians and plants.
It is used as a educational resource by schools and universities . The park also provides guided walks

Take the A56 from Warrington, at the traffic lights take the turning towards Moore. From Moore village, turn right into Moore lane, over the canal bridge and into Lapwing lane.
